We are proud to host Green Kayak in Ålesund, a fantastic initiative that combines paddling with environmental awareness. Green Kayak allows participants to rent kayaks and simultaneously contribute to keeping our beautiful coasts clean. For every hour paddlers spend on the water, they can collect trash and plastic that threaten the marine ecosystem.
During the season, we have seen fantastic engagement from both locals and visitors. Participants have not only enjoyed the stunning nature of Ålesund and its surroundings, but have also made a tangible impact on the environment. Together, we have collected an impressive amount of waste, demonstrating that small actions can make a big difference.
